NASA has successfully tested the first electric Aircraft. NASA launches its first electric aircraft Friday which was named NASA X-57 MAXWELL. This aircraft will be tested after one year. This aircraft will not produce carbon dioxide which will be very good for the environment. The lithium battery is used in this aircraft and 14 electric motors were also used in this. The main objective of this plane is to reduce increased pollution. This aircraft was built by an Aerospace company E S AERO in California.  Empirical Systems Aerospace produces tests and certifies electric and hybrid aircraft. NASA has said that in the future it will be introduced for common people, which will make travel more accessible. Before this, the solar-powered aircraft was also tested. But to date, this plane was not even brought to public transport.

Why the need for an electric aircraft?

The flight is the most polluting public transport in the world. Flight produces 285 gm Carbon dioxide per km which is 6 times more than a small car. To prevent such pollution, more attention is being paid to electric aircraft by the government. Increasing pollution is the world's biggest problem today.
